The Grade Ecole of Design in Visual Merchandising (École supérieure de Design en Visual Merchandising ESDVM ) is integrated into the Grande Ecole of applied arts of Vevey in Switzerland (École d’arts appliqués of Vevey) and provides training in preparation for obtaining the title of "Designer ES Visual Merchandiser". During the year 2009, the full-time first-year class and Huguenin-Sandoz conducted a partnership intended to provide students with an opportunity to see actual life in the profession and to acquire experience in industrial designing, and this, concretely within the framework of being confronted with a company issue. The main objective that the students were entrusted with was, on the one hand, proposing, creating and designing new products and new solutions to offer our current clientele and, on the other hand, the studying of new areas in the industry of luxury goods that can be accessed by Huguenin-Sandoz. The students' proposals and recommendations have to fall in line with the positioning of Huguenin-Sandoz and comply with our production methods.
